Obituary, Jeanette A. Malarchuk

Millerton – Jeanette A. Malarchuk, 89 of Skunk’s Misery Rd. in Millerton, NY passed peacefully at her residence on Saturday, July 7, 2018.

A lifelong local resident, she was born on September 14, 1928, in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late James and Ada May (Scutt) Filippini.

A homemaker, Jeanette was also a home health care aide in the area and had previously been employed by the former Sharon Registry.

On March 3, 1946, she married Alexander Malarchuk at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains, NY. Mr. Malarchuk predeceased her in 2006. She was also predeceased by a grandson, Chad Malarchuk earlier this year.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Mike and Pam Malarchuk of Millerton and her daughters and son in laws, Angela and Richard Hutchings and Rose and William Parsons all of Pine Plains. She also leaves six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14th at 11 AM at 7749 S. Main St. in Pine Plains with Vicar Jackie Jefferson officiating.

Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 7 PM

Interment will be in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
