Obituary, Vincent R. Dalrymple

 

Vincent R. Dalrymple, a resident of Pawling since 1980, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital, NYC; he was 74.

Born in the Bronx on December 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Vincent F. and Florence (Campion) Dalrymple, and husband of Carol Ann (Carlson) Dalrymple, who were married on September 30, 1967 at St. Adalbert Church, Elmhurst, NY; she survives at home.  Vincent served in the US Marine Corps during the Cold War/Vietnam era, and later was a technician for IBM.

In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by his four sons, Vincent and wife Carolyn of Pawling, Brian and wife Raquel of Brewster, Kevin and wife Joanne of Wake Forest, NC, and Sean and wife Laura, also of Pawling; and his much-loved grandchildren, Kyle, Brett, Shane, Scott, Shannon, & Blake, Riley, Abby, Molly, Finley, Murphy, Rory, & Flannery, Sean & Tucker, and Everett & Joslyn.

He is predeceased by his brother Martin Valerio who passed away in 1983, and step-father, Runzie Valerio, who predeceased him in 2013.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Thursday, July 12th 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 13th at 10 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling; burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Pawling.
