WPWL to Broadcast High School Ball Games May 2 & 8

On Wednesday, May 2 there will be live radio coverage of Pawling High School’s girls’ varsity softball game between the Pawling Tigers and visiting Putnam Valley. The game will be played at the Pawling Elementary School softball field beginning at 4:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, May 8th at 4:30, pm at Pawling High School, there will be live coverage of the Pawling Tigers’ baseball game against North Salem.

Play-by-play for both games will be provided by John Leahy, with color commentary by Mike Shustak.  Come out and be part of the live crowd at both games, and support PHS teams. Or, listen live on 103.7FM and on pawlingpublicradio.org as WPWL expands their community outreach with new remote broadcasting equipment.

This is the first time 103.7 will be broadcasted a live sporting event and hopes to do more in the future. Schmitt Excavation, serving the Hudson Valley, is underwriting WPWL’s coverage of these two ball games.
