Wanted Yorktown Man Arrested in Putnam Valley after a Traffic Stop

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reports the arrest of a 29-year-old Yorktown man for failure to appear in Putnam Valley Justice Court.

On April 14, 2018 at about 2:05 a.m., while patrolling the Lake Peekskill area of Putnam Valley, Deputy Sheriff Ronald Yeager observed a vehicle owned by Kevin A. Valenzuela, age 29, of Yorktown Heights. The deputy, aware that the owner had an active bench warrant, from the Town of Putnam Valley, for failure to appear in court, stopped the car. A check confirmed the warrant was active and Deputy Yeager placed Mr. Valenzuela under arrest. The warrant was for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 2nd Degree
