Bronx woman arrested for Grand Larceny 3rd Degree

On April 11, 2018, New York State Police Wurtsboro arrested of Andrea Mercer, 33 of Bronx, NY, for Grand Larceny 3rd. This arrest stems from the investigation the theft of over $7,000 from a patron at the Resorts World Catskills Casino.
The defendant, a guest at the casino herself, did enter the room of another guest at the casino and steal over $7,000 from that individual.
Mercer was arraigned before town of Thompson Justice Jankeiwicz and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail on $7500 cash bail.
This was a joint investigation between members of the State Police in Wurtsboro and the State Police in Manhattan.
