Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Report

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Samantha Keirnan age 41 of Stone Ridge following a report of an unwanted subject at a residence on JFK Lane in the Town of Rosendale.

Keirnan was charged with the violation of harassment in the second degree, the misdemeanor of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the third degree and numerous traffic infractions.

On March 20, 2015 at about 9:45 Deputies responded to JFK Lane for a report of a female at the residence banging on the door and windows threatening to harm the occupant of the house. As a Deputy Sheriff approached the scene a vehicle was observed fleeing the area without its headlights on. The vehicle was stopped and Keirnan was identified as the driver and suspect in the harassment. Keirnan was also found to have a revoked driver’s license.

Keirnan was transported to the Sheriff’s Office substation at the Ulster County Community College where she was processed. She was arraigned in the Town of Marbletown Court and was released to appear in the Town of Rosendale Court on April 14, 2015 at 5:00pm.

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Robert Tirapelli, 50 years old, of Boiceville, New York.

Mr. Tirapelli has been charged with the two Class E Felonies of Driving While Intoxicated (Second Offense) and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content Over .08% (Second Offense). Mr. Tirapelli was also charged with the traffic violation of passed red signal and operating out of conditional license.

On March 20th, 2015 at approximately 10:53 p.m., Deputies were on patrol in the area of State Route 375 and State Route 28 when the vehicle Mr. Tirapelli was operating passed through a red light. Investigation revealed through a traffic stop that the operator and single occupant was Mr. Tirapelli. Deputies determined that Mr. Tirapelli had been driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with the listed felonies.

Mr. Tirapelli was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Court and was released on his own recognizance to the care of a third party. He is scheduled to reappear in Hurley court on April 16th, 2015 at 5:30pm.

Deputies were assisted by the Town of Woodstock Police Department.

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Anna Meade, 39 years old, of Marlborough, NY.

Ms. Meade was charged with the Misdemeanor of False Personation and an active Bench Warrant from the Town of Newburgh.

On March 20, 2015 at approximately 5:00 PM, Deputies responded to an address on Tabor Place in Marlborough for a 911 poll regarding several adults fighting in the area. Upon arrival, Marlborough Police on the scene interviewing the subjects involved. Deputies contacted Ms. Meade to interview her and investigation later revealed Ms. Meade provided a false name.

Ms. Meade was released with an appearance ticket to appear in Marlborough Court on April 8, 2015 at 4:00 PM and turned over to the Town of Newburgh Police Department on the active warrant.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Town of Marlborough Police Department and the New York State Police.

Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Max J. Gibson, 18 years old, of Normandy Court, West Hurley NY.

Mr. Gibson was charged with the Misdemeanor of Petit Larceny.

This occurred on March 20th, 2015 at about 9:00 a.m. Deputies responded to the Hurley Ridge Market on Route 375 in the Town of Hurley for a report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival Deputies discovered Mr. Gibson had stolen a can of “Monster Energy Drink” from the store. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Sheriff’s Office headquarters.

Mr. Gibson was processed and released on an appearance. He is to return to the Town of Hurley Court on March 31st. 2015 at 4:30 p.m.
