She was predeceased by her brother, Bill. She worked in child care, in special education, and later in life, she was an LPN and worked as a private duty nurse taking care of several local residents. She enjoyed 10 years of retirement and loved being with her grandchildren. She and her husband were experienced campers and could often be foundwith their dog, Bailey, paddling their kayaks in the Adirondacks or camping on Cape Cod.
