Four Greene County residents arrested after a reported shooting in the Village of Catskill

On March 18, 2015 at 10:58pm members of the Catskill Village Police Department, New York State Police and Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported shooting at 19 North St. in the Village of Catskill. Police discovered that one of the occupants had suffered a wound to his upper thigh. That victim, Saville Jenkins, age 27, of Palenville, NY, was taken to Albany Medical Center where he was treated for a non life-threatening gunshot wound.

An investigation into the matter resulted in the arrests of four subjects. Jessica Little, age 34 of Catskill, N.Y. was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd (a class C Felony) and Assault 2nd (a class D Felony). Saville Jenkins, the victim of the gunshot wound, was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd (A Class A Misdemeanor). In addition, Little and Jenkins along with two other subjects at the residence at the time of the incident, Derrick Fenner, age 25, of Catskill, N.Y. and Vincent E. Cooper, age 28, of Palenville, N.Y. were all charged with Criminal Possession of A Controlled Substance 3rd (a Class B Felony) after a quantity of crack cocaine was found at the scene.

All four defendants were arraigned before Village of Catskill Justice Izzo, and were committed to the Greene County Jail with $20,000.00 cash bail or $40,000.00 bond.

Police were assisted at the scene by members of The Greene County District Attorney’s Office.
