Clinton man arrested for Resisting Arrest, Bail Jumping, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation after running from Troopers

Lagrange, New York – On October 29, 2017 the New York State Police from the Lagrange barracks arrested Albert R. Cline, age 34, of Clinton, NY, for Resisting Arrest, Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the 2^nd Degree, Bail Jumping in the 3^rd Degree, all Class A Misdemeanors, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2^nd Degree, an Unclassified Misdemeanor.

In the Town of Lagrange on Route 55 at approximately 3:15 PM, Troopers stopped Cline for vehicle and traffic violations.  Cline exited the vehicle immediately after stopping and ran to avoid arrest.  Troopers caught up to Cline in a nearby swamp.  Cline stated he ran because he has 17 suspensions on his license and two active warrants for his arrest.

Cline was arraigned before the Town of Lagrange Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.  Cline is next scheduled to appear before the Town of Lagrange Justice Court on November 14, 2017, at 5:00 PM.
