I am writing to endorse the candidacy of my brother, John Thomes, for re-election as your County Legislator from District 23, Pawling, East Fishkill, Beekman.
John has served you for four terms in this capacity. He is currently the Chairman of the Family and Human Services Committee and a member of the Government Services and the Stop DWI Committees.
John is a longtime resident of Pawling where he owns the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, and he was the Mayor of the Village of Pawling for three terms. John is retired from the NY Air National Guard and was a recipient of the Meritorious Service Award from the United States Air Force.
