Poughkeepsie, New York – On October 20, 2017 the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) in conjunction with the City of Poughkeepsie Police Neighborhood Recovery Unit (NRU), and the NYSP Special Operations Response Team, conducted a narcotics investigation which resulted in the execution of a search warrant on Noxon Street in Poughkeepsie, NY.

The search warrant resulted in the arrest of Rahmel Prince Ali Garraway, age of 24, who was found to possess over one ounce of cocaine, crack cocaine, various drug paraphernalia, and $1,800 in U. S. currency. Garraway was charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, both class B Felonies.

Garraway was arraigned in the City of Poughkeepsie Justice Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County in lieu of $75,000 bail/$150,000 bond.
