Connecticut man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Southeast, New York – On February 1, 2015, New York State Police from the East Fishkill barracks arrested Carlos A. Palta, 41, of Meriden, Connecticut, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped to check the welfare of a driver after locating the vehicle he was operating stopped in the right lane of Interstate 84. Palta, the driver, was found to be intoxicated.

Palta submitted to a chemical test that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .22% and was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Southeast Court on February 5, 2015.
