Kerhonkson Man Arrested For Having Sex With a Fourteen Year Old Female

Daniel W. Mikalonis, age 26, of Kerhonkson, NY was arrested and charged with Rape 2nd and Criminal Sex Act 2nd, both felonies.

The New York State Police conducted an investigation into a check the welfare complaint at which point it was disclosed that Mikalonis was possibly involved in a sexual relationship with a sixteen year old female. The investigation revealed that Daniel Mikalonis had been involved in a sexual relationship with the sixteen year old for two years starting when she was fourteen and Mikalonis was 24 years old.

Daniel Mikalonis was arrested and processed at SP Ellenville. He was arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court before Town Justice Albert Babcock who remanded him to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $15,000.00 cash bail or $30,000.00 secured bond to reappear on Monday September 18^th, 2017.
