The Greyhounds To Close 12TH Season Of Pawling’s “Music By The Lake” Series On August 26

On Saturday, August 26, the Pawling Music By The Lake Summer Concert Series will present a free concert featuring the band “The Greyhounds”.

A 5-piece roots rock band, “The Greyhounds” have been together since 2001. These seasoned musicians realized they had a shared interest in back to basics, rhythm-driven rock’n’roll, and joined forces to form one rockin’ unit. Their dedication to their musical roots comes though at full speed. Blending Rockabilly and Rhythm & Blues with the twang of Classic Country and the drive of 60’s Beat and – yes! – even Surf Instrumentals, these guys are roaring on all cylinders. The result is rock’n’roll in its purest form – dynamic, joyful, powerful, and honest.

The band members are: Stuart Millman (vocals), Mark Hollenbeck (guitar), Elmo Contelmo (bass), Chris Kaiser (drums), and Steve Greenfield (sax & keyboards).

Music By The Lake concerts are held on Saturdays at 6:00pm at the Pavilion at Lakeside Park. In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be held in the adjoining Lathrop building. As always, all concerts are FREE!

So bring your picnic baskets, coolers, blankets and folding chairs and join us on August 26 at 6pm to experience a journey back to basic roots rock with “The Greyhounds”.
