Vivian Larmore, 77, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, formerly of Putnam Lake, NY, died on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Mrs. Larmore was a school bus driver for 32 years for Brewster Central Schools in Brewster, NY.

Born on May 21, 1937 in Yonkers, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harold Matthews, Sr. and Vivian (Scofield) Matthews. On March 12, 1978 in Patterson, NY, she married Paul Larmore who predeceased her on November 14, 2014.

Mrs. Larmore is survived by three sons, Richard Ward, Jr. and his wife, Marcia, of Wingdale, NY, Robert Ward and his husband, Michael Morgado of Wingdale, NY and Jerry Larmore of Hillsdale, NY; two daughters, Thayel McGhee and her husband, David, of Millerton, NY and Andrea Fields and her husband, Casey, of Massena, NY. She is also survived by two brothers, Harold Matthews of Bethel, CT and George Matthews of Millbrook, NY and a sister, Harriet Morini of Waterbury, CT. She was the beloved grandmother of four grandchildren, Richard T. Ward III, Amanda Gaffney, Claire Slocum, Christian Pentz and five great grandchildren, Kiera and Celia Tucker and Gabrielle, Cadence and Alaina Slocum. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Larmore was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Ward.

Calling hours will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY. Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the funeral home with Pastor William Mayhew officiating. Burial will take place at Morningside Cemetery in Gaylordsville, NY.
