State Police in Liberty arrest Kauneonga Lake man for Driving While Intoxicated

State Police in Liberty announce the arrest of Jonathan Martinez, 29, of Kauneonga Lake, New York for Driving While Intoxicated. On March 14, 2015 at around 1:15 a.m. Mr Martinez was operating a 2004 Jeep on State Route 17b in the Town of Thompson. State Police members were conducting a Sobriety Checkpoint at that location. While he was being interviewed an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected Field Sobriety tests were administered and subsequently failed. Martinez was placed under arrest and processed at the Liberty barracks where a breath test was given, resulting in a BAC of .12%. Mr Martiinez was charged with DWI. He has to appear in the Town of Thompson Court on March 30, 2015 at 5 p.m..
