New York State Police arrest couple with counterfeit credit cards

Jermaine Smith          Keyonia Solomon 

New York State Police at Monroe arrested Jermaine R. Smith, age 39, from Bronx, NY and Keyonia Solomon, age 18, from Ohio following a traffic stop on State Route 17 in the Town of Monroe for possessing numerous counterfeit credit cards along with a credit card reader/writer/encoder.

Smith and Solomon were charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Forgery Devices.  Smith was additionally charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the second degree.

Both subjects were arraigned in the Town of Monroe Court and remanded to Orange County Jail pending a further court appearance.  Smith was remanded without bail and Solomon remanded on $100,000 cash bail or $250,000 bond.
