State Police in Wurtsboro arrest Bloomingburg man for Driving While Intoxicated
State Police in Wurtsboro announce the arrest of Rudolph L. Bauersachs, 62, of Bloomingburg, New York for Driving While Intoxicated. On March 12, 2015 at around 10:30 p.m. Mr Bauersachs was operating a 1997 Ford on Burlingham Road in the Town of Mamakating. Mr Bauersachs was observed violating the Vehicle and Traffic Law and was stopped. While he was being interviewed and odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Field Sobriety tests were administered and subsequently failed. Bauersachs was placed under arrest and processed at the Wurtsboro barracks where a breath test was given, resulting in a BAC of .10%. Mr Bauersachs was charged with DWI, Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 1st, and several other Uniform Traffic Tickets. He has to appear in the Town of Mamakating Court on March 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
