MISSING PERSONS INVESTIGATION

Gabriella Oudekerk, missing from Kinderhook since May 21st, has been located safe in Mystic, CT. We have personnel enroute to Mystic at this time, to interview Gabriella and bring her back to Columbia County. My thanks to the public and various law enforcement agencies who assisted in this search. – Sheriff Bartlett

 

Columbia County Sheriff David P. Bartlett reports that his office is investigating a report of a missing person/runaway and is asking for the public’s assistance in locating her. On May 21st, 2017 the Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Kinderhof Group home on State Route 203 in the Town of Kinderhook that 14 year old Gabriella Rose Oudekerk had run away from the home. Gabriella was last seen at approximately 2:00pm getting into a dark colored hatchback styled vehicle on State Rte 203. This vehicle is possibly a Chevy Malibu and could be black, dark gray, blue or green. It is reported that a white middle aged male, tall, with graying hair, and a large build, was the operator of the vehicle in question.

Gabriella is described as a white female with black hair, brown eyes, is approximately 5’3″ tall and weighs approximately 110 pounds. She has a pierced nose and pierced ears. Presently, the Sheriff’s Office is following up on information received that the missing person is in the Newburgh area and our office is working with other police agencies in and around the City of Newburgh.
