Cortlandt, New York – On May 17, 2017, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jeremiah J. Jones, 36 years old, of Peekskill, New York, for Unlawful Surveillance in the 2nd Degree, a Class E Felony.Troopers were dispatched to Kohl’s on Main Street for a suspicious male subject taking photos of a female patron.  Loss prevention reported that they observed Jones take a photo of a customer wearing a skirt as she bent over to pick up an item from the floor.

Jones was identified and located later that day subsequent to an investigation.  He was issued an appearance ticket to the Town of Cortlandt Justice Court on May 25, 2017.
