Gardiner man arrested for Rape

The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of Juan Rolon Jr., age 22, from Gardiner, NY, for the felony charge of Rape in the Third Degree.
On September 21, 2014 Members of SP Ellenville initiated a rape investigation, where a twenty two year old man had sexual intercourse with a fifteen year old juvenile.
Further investigation revealed this fifteen year old juvenile was at a small party with some of her friends and some boys she had met for the first time. The fifteen year old juvenile had sexual intercourse with Juan Rolon Jr. and later found out he was much older than she thought he was.
On March 10, 2015 Juan Rolon Jr. was arrested for Rape 3rd and processed at SP Ellenville. Rolon Jr. was arraigned at the Town of Wawarsing Court in front of Town Justice Wayne Lonstein, who remanded Rolon Jr. to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 certified bond. Rolon Jr. is to reappear in the Town of Wawarsing Court on 03/13/15 at 8:30 a.m.
