Connecticut man arrested following North Salem road rage incident

PRESS RELEASE
North Salem, New York – On May 8, 2017, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested 28-year-old Alison Fritsche of New Milford, Connecticut, for Menacing in the 2ndDegree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, both Class A Misdemeanors.

On the aforementioned date, at approximately 8:13 p.m., Troopers from the SP Somers barracks responded to a road rage incident that occurred on Interstate 684 in the Town of North Salem.  Fritsche is alleged to have pointed what appeared to be a gun at another motorist during a road rage incident.  Troopers located the suspect in the area of I-684 near Exit 8.  The ensuing investigation revealed that the item that Fritsche displayed during the incident was a black BB gun that closely resembled an actual 9mm handgun.

The defendant was issued Appearance Tickets directing him to appear in the Town of North Salem Court on May 22, 2017 at 6:30 p.m.
