State Police arrest Catskill man for Arson

         On May 2, 2017, State Police arrested Joseph Ferro, age 23, of Catskill, N.Y. for Burglary 2^nd (a class C Felony), Arson 5^th and Aggravated Harassment 2^nd(both class A Misdemeanors). Ferro is accused of entering the residence of an ex-girlfriend in the Town of Catskill and stealing some of her personal belongings from within which he then burned. Ferro is also accused of sending threatening messages to the victim. Ferro was arraigned before T/J Wooton, T/Catskill Court and was committed to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $2500.00 cash or $5000.00 bond.
