Massachusetts woman arrested for possessing stolen vehicle following traffic stop for speeding

LaGrange, New York – On March 9, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested 29-year-old Stacy L. Polidoro of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th Degree, a Class E Felony. Polidoro additionally faced several vehicle and traffic violations.
Troopers stopped a 2005 Jeep Cherokee traveling northbound on the Taconic State Parkway for speeding. The driver, identified as Polidoro, was found to be operating the vehicle without valid driving privileges. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle she was operating was reported stolen from Pittsfield, Massachusetts on March 6, 2015.
Polidoro was arraigned before the Town of LaGrange Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $4,000 bond. She is scheduled to re-appear before the Town of LaGrange Court on March 13, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
