Missing Claverack man James Bleau has been located in good health

PRESS RELEASE

UPDATE 3/10/15 – Mr. Bleau was located at the Albany Bus Terminal on March 8, 2015 and is in good health.

Troopers received a call from the Albany Police Department reporting that Bleau had returned to the Albany area from Charleston, South Carolina. We are pleased to report that Mr. Bleau is in good health and is uninjured.

The State Police would like to thank members of the public who aided in this investigation and the Albany Police Department.

UPDATED 3/6/15 – Mr. Bleau’s vehicle has been located at the Greyhound bus terminal, in Albany, New York. Bleau was observed boarding a southbound bus that was scheduled to stop in the following locations: New York City, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Columbia, South Carolina, and Charleston, South Carolina. Mr. Bleau’s family reports that he has a family member that resides in South Carolina.

Claverack, New York – The New York State Police are attempting to locate James E. Bleau, 75 years old, of Claverack, New York. Mr. Bleau was last seen on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 when he left his residence to run personal errands.

Mr. Bleau is believed to be traveling in a 2011 Ford Fusion, color gray, bearing New York State license plate AJT5085. It is unknown where he may be traveling.

Bleau is described as a white male, 5’9”, 170 pounds, with gray hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and hat, dark colored pants and a blue plaid shirt.

Bleau suffers from diabetes and may be in need of medication.
