Diane E. Bonvissuto, 59, a life-time area resident, passed away March 4, 2015 at her residence in Dover Plains, NY.
Born in Sharon, CT on July 30, 1955, she was the daughter of the late John and Florence (Hapanowich) Benson. Diane graduated from Dover Jr-Sr High School and attended the Kressler Business Institute in Poughkeepsie. Diane worked as a therapy aid at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center, Wingdale and later Wassaic Developmental Center, Wassaic.
Diane enjoyed camping in the area with her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Craig Benson of Pawling; two sisters, Linda Smith and her husband, Raymond, of Wingdale and Pamela Deleon of Waterbury, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Robert Bonvissuto, who passed away in 2005, and her special friend, Craig Dean, who recently passed away.
Family and friends may pay their respects Friday, March 13th at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling from 2-4 PM, with a service at the funeral home at 4 PM.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
