Joan Bernadette Levee (ne Groen) of Pawling NY, after a well lived life, died March 17, 2017 in the home she shared with her daughter J.B. Passler and family, surrounded by family and friends.
Joan was born August 5, 1927 to Johanna and Henri Groen. She was the middle of 5 daughters who pre-deceased her. She married Raymond Francis Levee on June 9,1955. They lived in Greenwich, Ct. until their move to Pawling in 2002. They had three daughters, Ellen, Alice and Joan (J.B.).
Joan is survived by her three daughters, as well as, son-in-laws, Mark, Robert and Charles; seven grand-children: Andrew, Raymond, Keturah, Thomas, Daven, Lauren and Rene; as well as her great-granddaughter Attie. Loved ones also include 15 nieces and nephews, as well as many more family and friends.
Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Monday, March 21st4-7 PM. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 12 noon at Christ Church on Quaker Hill, Pawling.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
