Brooklyn woman arrested for Identity Theft, Grand Larceny and Forgery

PRESS RELEASE

The New York State Police, in conjunction with the Town of Ulster Police Department, announce the arrest of Nataliya Karlova of Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Karlova was charged with multiple counts of Identity Theft in the 1st Degree, a class D Felony, Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree, a class E Felony, and Forgery 2nd, a class D Felony.

Investigation revealed that Ms. Karlova stole the identity of a victim, opened several credit cards in the victim’s name, and used the fraudulently obtained credit cards to make purchases in the Town of Ulster, Town of Newburgh, and Town of Wallkill.

Ms. Karlova was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to the Orange County Jail on $10,000/$25,000, cash/bond bail. Ms. Karlova scheduled to reappear in the Town of Wallkill Court on March 14th, 2017 at 9:00a.m.
