AMENIA – An Amenia man was arrested Saturday after he was allegedly found in possession of cocaine and also was DWI.
State police from Dover Plains charged Neil A. Jordan, 60, at 9:30 p.m. with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony.
Jordan was also charged with driving while intoxicated-his first offense. Under state law, a blood alcohol of at least 0.08 percent is considered proof of intoxication.
The incident is still pending additional investigation.
