This week at Arts Mid-Hudson we have been busy sending out grant notifications for $116,885 in NYSCA funding for project grants, individual artist projects, and arts education to our three-county region. This funding is critical in serving thousands of our residents, resulting in a positive economic impact for all, including employment! What this funding has done in the past is to bring art programs to your neighborhood, such as the Community Clay Day held at Art Centro in Poughkeepsie, the concert, Unsung Heroes, a Concert to Celebrate Elder Farmers, or the many libraries that have received small grants to host arts and cultural programming. We are so grateful to administer this NYSCA funding that directly benefits our community. Stay tuned for the announcement of the 2017 NYSCA grants on our webpage.
