Dutchess Partners in the Arts Fund Open – deadline April 12, 2017

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: Arts Mid-Hudson invites organizations to submit funding proposals that contribute to creating a lively arts scene in Dutchess County, including arts exhibitions, music concerts, film series, live theater, unique performances and experiential activities for visitors and residents.
For over 50 years, Arts Mid-Hudson has taken a lead role in equitably distributing Dutchess County arts and cultural funds to Dutchess County arts organizations, so that both residents and visitors to our region can enjoy a rich offering of arts. Through a partnership with Dutchess Tourism and The Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency (DCIDA), Arts Mid-Hudson is pleased to partner with arts organizations to strategically plan and implement arts offerings. The funds will be distributed as contracts for programming towards creating a vibrant arts scene in Dutchess County.
Arts Mid-Hudson is requesting proposals that will establish partnerships for arts programming to enhance Dutchess County, and seeks partners that have a history of achievement in the arts, good management and stable finances; and self-sustaining programs with the potential to make a measurable impact.
All applicants are encouraged to attend an application workshop to learn more about the program’s funding priorities and how to develop a competitive application. Workshops are 90 minutes and include time for Q&A. Appointments for individualized feedback on potential initiatives will also be available. The deadline to apply is April 12, 2017.
