Pleasant Valley woman charged with DWI and driving with a revoked driver’s license

LaGrange, New York – On January 31, 2017, New York State Police arrested 34-year-old Jessica E. McLean of Pleasant Valley, New York, for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st Degree, a Class E Felony, Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the 2nd Degree, all Misdemeanors.At approximately 9:55 a.m., a member of the Traffic Incident Management Unit was monitoring traffic on Route 82 in the area of North Clove Road.  After observing a vehicle pass his location at a high rate of speed and with an expired New York State Inspection sticker, the Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop.  The driver came to a stop in her driveway and attempted to flee the vehicle on foot.  The operator of the Honda, McLean, was placed in custody following a brief struggle.  Further investigation revealed that McLean was intoxicated and was operating the Honda with revoked driving privileges due to prior DWI arrests.

LaGrange EMS responded to the scene and transported McLean to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital for an evaluation.

McLean was issued appearance tickets directing her to appear in the Town of Union Vale Court on February 15, 2017.
