North Salem man arrested following domestic dispute

North Salem, New York – On January 30, 2017, New York State Police from the Somers barracks arrested Matthew S. Hagan, 29 years old, of North Salem, New York, for Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree, both Class E Felonies.  Hagan was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief in the 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

At approximately 12:24 a.m., Troopers were dispatched to a domestic dispute on Peach Lake Drive.  Troopers interviewed the victim who reported that Hagan damaged two vehicles that were parked at the Peach Lake Drive home.  Hagan was also charged with Criminal Contempt 1st Degree for violating a court order of protection banning him from having contact with the protected party.

Hagan was arraigned in the Town of North Salem Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail.  He is due to appear in North Salem Court at a later date and time.
