State Police investigate fatal structure fire on Shadblow Lane in the Town of Clinton.

Clinton Corners, New York – On January 20, 2017 at approximately 2:30 p.m., New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks were dispatched by Dutchess County 911 to a structure fire located at 184 Shadblow Lane.Police and Fire arrived on scene and observed a shed, detached from the home, engulfed in flames. A resident of the home, 56-year-old Kevin A. McGarry, was located inside of the shed deceased.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the State Police and the Dutchess County Cause and Origin Team.

The fire was brought under control by the East Clinton Fire Department, Pleasant Valley Fire Department, and the Stanford Fire Department.
