FISHKILL – Jeffery K. Beringer, 63, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2017. Jeffrey was born October 9, 1953 in Oahu, Hawaii, to Robert L. and the late Harriet K. (AhQuin) Beringer. Jeffrey was educated in Carmel Schools. He went on to become a heavy equipment operator, working most recently for Brennan Construction out of Brewster. Jeff has been an area resident for many years, residing in Stormville and Fishkill. He will always be remembered for being a devoted father to his daughter, Vanessa, a kind and loving brother and hard worker.
In addition to his daughter and father, Jeffery is survived by his three sisters Janice and Paul Tozzi, Janet and Tommy Sherman, and Jeanne Beringer. Three brothers; Robert L. Beringer Jr., Donald and Patricia Beringer, and Ronald Beringer. Also five nieces and three great nieces and one great nephew.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 23, 2017, at 7:00 pm, at 900 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Visitation will be prior to the service and will begin at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation, 374 Violet Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY. 12601.
