Fishkill man arrested for possessing stolen pick-up truck and for violating court order of protection

Fishkill, New York – On January 13, 2017, New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Vincent J. Campolong, age 48, of Fishkill, New York, for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Third Degree, a Class D Felony, and Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.Troopers were dispatched to investigate a report that Campolong had unlawfully contacted a complainant in violation of an Order of Protection. During the investigation, Campolong was also found to be in possession of a pick-up truck that had been reported stolen in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in January 2017.

Campolong was arraigned at the Town of Fishkill Court. He was remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 bond
