Obituary, Judith Ann Carroll

 

Amenia – Judith Ann Carroll, 73 of Amenia, NY passed away on Friday January 13, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.

A longtime resident, she was born on July 13, 1943 in Ancram, NY to Orville and Mildred (Cookingham) Baker.

Judith had been employed as a bookkeeper with Rosini Furniture in Millerton.

An avid cook, she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her partner Alan Carroll of Amenia and three sons, Christopher and Philip Carroll of Amenia and Thomas Campion of Millerton. She also leaves her former husband, Philip Carroll Sr. of Amenia and a sister Mildred Morehouse of Millbrook, NY. Also her grandchildren Benjamin, Zachary, Amanda, Trisha, Brittany and Shelby and great grandchildren, Troy, Tyler and Dakota along with several nieces and nephews.

She was pre deceased by her son James Carroll and siblings, Eleanor Williams, Margaret Ball, David Baker and Van Ness Baker.

Friends are invited and may call on Tuesday January 17th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at 8063 State Route 22 in Copake NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Kent Wilson on Wednesday January 18th at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Amenia.

Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to either the Immaculate Conception Church, 4 Lavelle Rd., Amenia NY 12501 or the Amenia Fire Company, 15 Cascade Rd., Amenia NY 12501.
