Connecticut man charged with Bail Jumping

PRESS RELEASE

Southeast, New York – On March 2, 2015, New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Brewster barracks arrested Michael Holt, 46 years old, of Ansonia, Connecticut, for Bail Jumping 2nd, a Class E Felony.

Holt was wanted by State Police after failing to appear at a December 4, 2014 court date at the Town of Southeast Court. Subsequent to a felony Bench Warrant being issued, Holt was arrested by Connecticut State Police as a fugitive from justice and turned over to the New York State Police after waiving his Connecticut extradition hearing.

Holt was arraigned before the Town of Southeast Court and remanded to the Putnam County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to appear before the Town of Southeast Court on March 19, 2015 at 1:00 p.m.
