Stephanie Montagna, 89, of Holmes, NY passed away on March 02, 2015. Mrs. Montagna was born on November 26, 1925 to Stephen and Theresa (LaCorte) Ingoglia in Brooklyn, NY.

Before she retired in 1988, Stephanie worked as a Data Entry Specialist for Guide Post. She was a longtime member of St. James the Apostle R.C. Church and was also a member of the Kent Senior Citizens. Mrs. Montagna was very active in her community and for 15 years she was a volunteer at Putnam Hospital Center. In her spare time, she was an avid Bingo Player, but most of all she loved spending her time with her family.

She is survived by her four loving children; Dominick Montagna, Stephen Montagna, Frank Montagna and Karen (Stephen) DeSiena, six adoring grandchildren; Dominick (Tammy) Montagna, Deana (Jamie) Schmidt, Nicole (Jason) Pentland, Stephen Montagna, Kristen DeSiena and Candace DeSiena and seven wonderful great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Frank who had passed in 1975 and her brother, James Ingoglia.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle R.C., 14 Glenieda Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512. Interment will be private.
