Newburgh man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated following crash investigation

Cortlandt, New York – On March 2, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Jackson N. Emo, 52 years old, of Newburgh, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
Troopers were dispatched to a one-car property damage auto collision that occurred on Route 9 in the Town of Cortlandt. While interviewing the driver who identified himself as Emo, Troopers noted clues that indicated he was driving while intoxicated.
Emo supplied police with a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .20%, more than two times the legal limit of intoxication. He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on March 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
