Buchanan man arrested for Driving While Intoxicated

Cortlandt, New York – On February 27, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested James A. Zambrano, 41 years old, of Buchanan, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped the vehicle Zambrano was driving on Kingsferry Road for failing to maintain its lane of travel. While speaking with Zambrano, Troopers noted a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. Further investigation revealed that he was intoxicated at the time of the stop.

Zambrano provided police with a positive breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .10%. He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Cortlandt Court on March 13, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and released from police custody.
