Ann Emelda (Landon) McNaughton
Sharon – Ann Emelda (Landon) McNaughton , 78 , a longtime area resident, died on Friday, November 25, 2016 at the Sharon Healthcare Center in Sharon, CT.
Born on June 8, 1938 in Leicester, VT she was the daughter of the late Melvin Landon and Anita (Wisell) Landon.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Donald James McNaughton whom she married on August 25, 1953 in Castleton, VT
Mrs.McNaughton is survived by her children, Deborah Lapointe, Sandra Cardenas, Dale-Marie Silvernail, Elizabeth Roper, Rodney McNaughton, Donald Jay McNaughton, Diane Cook , and Kimberly McNaughton. She is also survived by her brothers Martin Landon of Vermont and Melvin Landon, her sister Erica, 19 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many cousins and nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents Mrs. McNaughton was also pre deceased by 4 children, Donald Jr., Donna Mae, Stanley and Leonard McNaughton, 2 grandchildren, Ashley Silvernail and Peter Roper Jr.; a sister Marjorie Woods.
In honor of Mrs. McNaughton there will be A Celebration of Life on Saturday December 3, 2016 at the American Legion in Wingdale, NY from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
