Obituary, Michael J. Ciccolella

 

Michael J. Ciccolella, 79, of Pawling, NY passed away on November 27, 2016. Mr. Ciccolella was born on September 3, 1937 to Ignazio and Anna (Gangai) Ciccolella in the Bronx, NY. On June 29, 1957 he married the love of his life, Elinore Lasco, in the Bronx, NY. He proudly served our Country from 1960 – 1970 with the National Guard.

Before he retired he was a Plastic Engineer and was employed by Forum Molding Co., in Waterbury, CT. As an avid sportsman, Michael, was a A.A. Trap Shooting Champion, he also enjoyed, fishing, hunting, golfing, boating, was a huge Yankee fan.

He is survived by his four loving daughters; Debra J. Heller, Lauri A. (Peter) LaPick, Gina L. (John) Kreso and Michelle (Russ) Oakley, his two sisters; Phyllis Nelson and Grace Commons, eight adoring grandchildren; Danielle (Al) Ibrahim, Christopher Grady, John Kreso, Michael LaPick, Samantha Kreso, Ryan Oakley, Andrew LaPick and Allison Oakley and three cherished great-grandchildren; Juliana Grady-Perez, Selena Ibrahim and Maiya Ibrahim. All of whom he adored and each child held a special place in his heart. He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Elinore who had passed in 2008 and his sister Rose Salmon. He will be dearly missed by all who had known him, yet Michael’s legacy of love and devotion to family and friends will continue to grow in our hearts.

A visitation will be held tomorrow from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, at 11:00 a.m. at 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY. Interment to follow at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Carmel, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Albany Medical Center Foundation, 43 New Scottland Ave., Mail Code 119, Albany, NY 12208.
