Connecticut man arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated following crash investigation

PRESS RELEASE

Claverack, New York – On March 1, 2015, New York State Police charged Scott Auten, 38 years old, of Shelton, Connecticut, with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to conduct an accident investigation on the Taconic State Parkway in the area of Manor Rock Road. Following a brief investigation, it was discovered that the driver of the vehicle, Auten, was intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Auten supplied a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .18%. He was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Claverack Court on March 17, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
