Phyllis A. Occhiogrosso, 76, a resident of Pawling for 13 years, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Putnam Ridge, Brewster, NY.
A resident of Carmel, NY from 1970-2003, Phyllis was born in Yonkers on January 24, 1940 to Felix and Dominica (Didio) Alderisio. She married Dominick Occhiogrosso in Yonkers on September 10, 1968; he predeceased her on December 12, 2004.
Phyllis graduated from Berkley Business College, White Plains, NY, and before retiring, Phyllis had been an insurance broker for Allan Twitty Insurance Agency in Brewster, NY.
Phyllis enjoyed drawing and being with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Dominica (Allan) Twitty of Pawling, and her two grandchildren, Allan Twitty and Amanda McConnell.
Family and friends may call at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, Wednesday, September 28th from 9-10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, Pawling; burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Pawling, NY.
