State Police arrest Coxsackie man for numerous drug charges

     On September 26, 2016, a joint investigation conducted by the New York State Police, The Greene County District Attorney’s Office and The Greene County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the execution of a search warrant at 10 Stacy Rd. in the Town of Coxsackie.

     The search resulted in the recovery of approximately 15.3 grams of cocaine and approximately 60 grams of marijuana as well as over $1,700 in US currency. The occupant of that residence, ALEXANDER MAZARIEGO, age 20 was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, a class B felony and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th degree, a class A misdemeanor. MAZARIEGO was arraigned before the Town of Catskill Court and remanded to Greene County Jail in lieu of $150,000 cash bail / $300,000 secured bond.
