County Executive Molinaro Asks Residents to Help with Relief
Efforts in Louisiana

Poughkeepsie…Dutchess County Executive Marcus J. Molinaro is asking residents to assist with relief efforts in Louisiana following the unprecedented flooding which has displaced thousands of people over the last week. Several organizations including United Blood Services, the Salvation Army, the Red Cross, the United Way, and Samaritan’s Purse, among others, are actively recruiting volunteers to help with donations, supplies, and other services to help with relief and recovery efforts.

“The devastation in Louisiana is one of the worst natural disasters to hit the United States, causing thousands of Louisiana residents to lose their homes, while some have lost their lives. Let’s do what we can to help our fellow citizens in need during this critical time. There are a number of organizations seeking volunteers to assist with relief efforts. I encourage and urge all residents to do what you can to help,” said Dutchess County Executive Molinaro.
