North East, New York – On August 17, 2016, New York State Police arrested James C. Kaiser, 34 years old, of Millerton, New York, for two counts of Criminal Contempt in the 2ndDegree, a Class A  Misdemeanor.

On the morning of August 17, 2016, Troopers were dispatched to investigate an order of protection violation at a Town of Washington residence.  The complainant reported that she is receiving text messages from Kaiser in violation of a valid order of protection.

Kaiser was arraigned in the Town of Dover Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.  He is scheduled to return to town court on September 16, 2016.

On the afternoon of August 17, 2016, Kaiser violated the order of protection again by calling the protected party.

Kaiser was arraigned in the Town of North East Court and released under the supervision of probation.  He is scheduled to appear in the Town of North East Court on August 23, 2016.
