Troop K – On August 16, 2016, employees of Troop K gathered to say farewell to Major Robin H. Benziger, the 31st Troop Commander and first female Troop Commander of Troop K. On August 25th, Major Robin H. Benziger’s tenure as the Troop K Commander will end and she will continue to serve the Division of State Police in Employee Relations. Troop K would like to wish the Major good luck in her new position.
Major Benziger started her career in Troop K 32 years ago, with only a handful of other women officers. Today, Troop K has 47 female members.
