The Dover Plains Library would like to announce a very special surprise for all Summer Reading Program participants.
Dover & Wingdale students are in for a treat on August 19th at 12:30 PM at the Dover Library’s End of Summer Carnival….
Not only will there be games, prizes, and a Make Your Own Sundae Bar for 100 kids courtesy of Stewart’s Shops– but the library has also procured a Dunk Tank for the day!
And who’s in the hot seat you ask?? Mr. Harmelink & Mr. Stevens!
Mr. Harmelink, the Dover Elementary School Principal, and Mr. Stevens, the Wingdale & Dover Elementary School Librarian, have generously offered up their time. Summer Reading participants will get a chance to dunk them as a reward for their dedication to reading throughout the Summer! All are invited!
The library is located at 1797 Route 22, Wingdale, NY 12594—at the intersection of County Route 21 and State Route 22.
